  • Ultramarines Capt., Artificer Armour

This is a metal Rogue Trader-era miniature – the Ultramarines Captain in Artificer Armour. Sculpted by Jes Goodwin in 1990. Part number 070268/6 in the 1991 Blue catalogue.

  • Games Workshop Rogue Trader Servitors 8048D Warhammer 40K

These Servitors are designed by Jes Goodwin. This is the guy with the left-arm claw 072000/2 – one of two in the 8048D blister (the other is 072000/1, which I don’t have pics of just now – numbers from the 1992/1993 catalogue):

Marked as 1992. They also came with the Rapier cannon (8048A) and the Tarantula cannon (8048C). The other guy in the same blister:

  • RT Space Marine Medic 04

    RT Space Marine Medic 04

This metal Warhammer 40K Rogue Trader miniature is one of the Space Marine medics. Heems to be missing his backpack and banner, unfortunately.

Marked 1988 by the looks of it. More pics to come once he’s painted…

    Undercoat: Vallejo Mecha Black

    White: Pro Acryl Titanium White

    Yellow: Pro Acryl Golden Yellow

Red: Pro Acryl Bold Pyrrole Red

    Silver: Black Metal

  • Games Workshop Rogue Trader Space Marine Medic 06

This guy is Marine Medic 06 in the catalogues. Pics as he arrived:

Love the bell bottoms. Looks a bit like 1986 but I suspect it’s a badly stamped 1988.

  • Games Workshop Rogue Trader Space Marine Medic 01

    As I found him:

This one is marked 1987, best as my eyes can make out. More photos to come once stripped and painted.

  • Space Marine Master of the Watch – Metal Mini

The Master of the Watch is, in Codex compliant chapters, the Captain of the 2nd. Company. This particular mini was cast in metal as part of the Masters of the Chapter set. Apparently the actual company which guarded the fortress monastery was rotated out regularly, but the title remained with the 2nd. Company captain.

This guy I am intending on using as a smash captain – he has a jump pack in his future.

The post is more static than most of the modern captains but I think it should work regardless. Stay tuned…

  • Veteran Sergeant Aurelius

This is Veteran Sergeant Aurelius, a limited edition 2005 sculpt.

This chap turned up in a bulk buy and it took me a little while to figure out who he was. I don’t think the aesthetic really suits the nostalgia marine force but I’m eyeing off the storm bolter arm for my Librarian…

Apparently he’s the Games Day limited edition model from 2005. He doesn’t seem to have a lot of info about him that I can find lore-wise, other than the fact that he’s called Veteran Sergeant Aurelius.
