- Undercoat: Vallejo Mecha Black
- Blue: Scale75 Art Cobalt Blue, highlighted with that mixed with Pro Acryl Titanium White
- NMM gold: Vanilla White as a base, then Primary Yellow washed over the top, then a shade of Burnt Sienna Umber, then an overall wash of Intense Yellow, then a further recess shade of Art Black, then working the midtones with Burnt Sienna mixed with Intense Yellow, then Titanium White in the highlights, then a wash of Titanium Grey to knock back the brightness a bit then Titanium White to bring just the edges back up. Phew. First time doing NMM gold. Went back over with some Permanent Orange mixed with Intense Yellow to warm it up a little more.
- Base: Martian Ironearth, PVA glue and Noch grey ballast, a Noch Profi rock and a skull from the Citadel set.

Vintage Warhammer 40K Metal Rogue Trader Space Marine in Artificer Armour 4
This guy was a 1990 sculpt as far as I can tell and was part number 70270/2. He appears in the 1991 catalogues.
Painted as an Ultramarine!
- Undercoat: Vallejo Mecha black
- Blue: Scale75 Artist Cobalt Blue, highlighted with that + Pro Acryl Titanium White, shaded with that + Scale75 Art Prussian Blue, further shading with Art Black
- Black: Art Black, highlighted with Titanium White + Art Black
- Copper for Armiger head: Decayed Metal, then Victorian Brass, then Amber Alchemy, then Moonstone Alchemy, then Dirty Down Verdigris
- Rim: Vallejo Black Grey
- Base: Martian Ironearth on left, PVA glue and ballast on right. Red Ochre mixed with Art Black for the base colour, then Reddish Brown pigment, then Natural Soil, then Sand, a little bit of Gypsum on the rock, a little bit of Ash on the Armiger face to try and get a bit of separation. Wild Grass tuft for behind.
- Red: Pro Acryl Bold Pyrrole Red, then Primary Red, shaded with Burnt Sienna Umber, further shaded with Art Black. Very slight highlight of Primary Yellow.
- Armiger lens: Primary Yellow, shaded with Crimson, shaded with Art Black
- Lens: Scale75 Art Sap Green, highlighted with that + Primary Yellow, a little bit of a further highlight with Titanium White mixed in. ‘Ardcoat to finish.

Metal Rogue Trader Space Marine Brother West
This chap was Brother West, and later Bolter 8 – part number 070119/21. His name seems to be a reference to Adam West, who played Batman in the 1960s TV series.

Metal Rogue Trader Space Marine Brother Meredith
This awesome sculpt was initially shown as Brother Meredith, and by 1991 was Bolter 11 and part number 070106/10. He seems to have been named after Burgess Meredith, who played the Penguin in the 1960s Batman TV show.
Sculpted by Mark Copplestone (as confirmed by the man himself!).

- Undercoat: Vallejo Mecha Black
- Blue: Scale75 Art Cobalt Blue, highlighted by mixing in Kimera’s The White, shaded by mixing in Kimera’s Orange
- Red: Kimera’s The Red, shaded by mixing in Phthalo Green
- Silver: Scale75’s Black Metal, shaded with Basilicanum Grey, highlighted with… other Scale paints, I’ll find my notes
- Flesh: Some of Scale75’s Art pinks, washed with Guilliman Flesh
- Base: Sand and a couple of little rocks undercoated then painted with Ochre, then pigment of Reddish Brown, Natural Soil and Sand for the rocks applied.
