    This guy was part number 70082/2 and was sculpted by Jes Goodwin. He came with a metal backpack, part number 70082/3.

  • Rogue Trader Metal Inquisitor in Terminator Armour

    This goatee’d guy is part number 070204/19 and came with either the power fist with digital weapons or a force rod on the left arm, and on the right a combi-weapon or psycannon. Sadly this guy didn’t come with any arms at all.

    Sculpted by Jes Goodwin with a date of what looks to be 1990. He shows up in the 1997 catalogues as a Legends option.

    Now to decide on a colour scheme…

    Sculpted by Jes Goodwin, part number 0819/1 as shown in the 1993 catalogue. A 1992 sculpt!

    Undercoat: Vallejo Mecha Black

    Blue: Scale75 Cobalt Blue, highlighted with Primary Blue, shaded with Prussian Blue

    Red: Scale75 Primary Red, shaded with Prussian Blue. Highlighted with Primary Yellow, then covered in Crimson ink, then Technical ‘Ardcoat.

    Green: Sap Green, highlighted with Spring Green, highlighted again with Spring Green mixed with Primary Yellow.

    Bone: Scale75 Artist Off White, shaded with Burnt Skin, highlighted with Art White.

    Leather: Burnt Skin highlighted with a mix of Burnt Skin and Off White, and a little bit of Burnt Skin mixed with Orange. Shaded with Chestnut ink.

    Black: Art Black highlighted with Pearl Grey.

    Gold: Necro Gold, shaded with Chestnut ink, brought up again with Necro Gold, then Elven Gold, then Citrine Alchemy.

    I decided this chap was the test pilot for my new Scale75 Floww oil paint set.

    Blue: SFL-09 Prussian Blue, blended to Cobalt Blue Light (hue), blended to Titanium White

    Red: Red Mauve, blende to Vermillion

    Green: SFL-11 Olive Green, shaded with Toad Green

    Black: Art Black, highlighted with Pearl Grey

    Eyes: Art White mixed with Buff, iris Cobalt Blue, pupil Art Black

    Hair: Buff, shaded with Burnt Skin, highlighted with Vanilla White

    Red: Art White followed by Red Ochre, then Crimson, then Primary Red, highlighted with Orange and then Intense Yellow

    Shells: Vallejo Old Copper, washed with Chestnut Ink, highlighted with Pure Copper and Moonstone Alchemy

    Skin: Pink Flesh, Golden Flesh, Burnt Skin, Buff, Light Skin and Crimson… muddled around a lot

    Pigment: Scale75 Dark Mud and Sienna

    Skin: Scale75 Artist White, followed by Pink Flesh. Shaded with Burnt Skin and then Burnt Umber. Highlighted with Golden Flesh/Off White

    Red: Scale75 Artist White, followed by Red Ochre, followed by Primary Red. Shaded with Dark Violet, highlighted with Orange and Naples Yellow.

    Black: Scale75 Art Black. Highlight of Artic Blue

    Yellow: Scale75 Art White followed by Light Skin, followed by Intense Yellow, followed by a blend of Golden Flesh and Primary Yellow, followed by Primary Yellow. Shaded with Burnt Sienna Umber followed by a smaller shade of Orange. Highlight of Primary Yellow + Art White.

    Shells: Old Copper, washed with Chestnut Ink, followed by a highlight of Pure Copper, then Moonstone Alchemy

    Gold: Necro Gold, followed by Chestnut Ink, highlight of Elven Gold, ultimate highlight of Citrine Alchemy
